Council Meetings

Williton parishioners are fully entitled to attend Full Parish or Committee meetings.

Unfortunately you are not entitled to speak at the council meetings, except upon receiving specific permission from the Council. If there is something that you wish to be raised at a Council meeting, you can ask it to be included on the agenda, by writing to the Clerk of the Parish Council - or by contacting her using the Link on this website.

Williton Parish Council holds a full Parish Council meeting, once a month, on the first Monday of each month, the Environmental and Planning Committee meets on the second Tuesday of the Month, the Finance and Admin Committee on the third Monday, and the Trustees of the Memorial Ground on the last Monday.

All Council meetings are held in the Parish Office at 2 Killick Way next to the Library. The Annual Parish Assembly and occasionally the Full Council meeting will be held in the Council Chamber of the District Council offices if there is a lot public interest. Meetings kick off at 7pm, unless notified otherwise. Special meetings are held from time to time to cover things like Christmas festival planning.
